For 28 years, I didn’t just study leadership; I lived it in the trenches of manufacturing and distribution. I know the pressure of a stopped line. I know the friction of a shift change. And I know the silent cost of “conformity”—where good people keep their heads down and their great ideas to themselves because they don’t feel safe to speak up.

FROM THE LAB TO THE LINE
1. The Lab (Scouting Roots): My journey began in Scouting, where I learned the foundational principles of peer-to-peer leadership. I learned that authority isn’t granted by a title; it is earned through service. These early lessons in Honor, Authenticity, and Collaboration became my code.
2. The Line (Operational Grit): I spent nearly three decades applying those principles in traditional hierarchical environments. I saw firsthand that when leaders demand conformity, innovation dies and turnover spikes. I realized that you cannot optimize a process if you are breaking the people who run it.
